Minting on L2 is the process of pushing your domains from our database onto the Polygon blockchain, and into your cryptocurrency wallet. Once a domain is minted, have full custody over the domain. If you wish to use, sell or gift a domain - you must first mint it.

  • Before you start, make sure to connect to Polygon by following this guide. To mint domains on the Coinbase Wallet mobile app you will need to sign into your UD account using the Email and Password option, instead of the Google Sign In option for it to work.

  • Open the Coinbase Wallet app, make sure the Polygon network is selected, then tap on the Dapp Browser at the bottom of the menu. Click on the address bar and visit

  • Sign into your UD account. Remember, you can only sign in using the Continue with Email option. If you usually sign in using the Continue with Google option then please follow this guide instead.

  • Once you have signed in click on the Menu icon at the top-left, then tap My Domains. This will take you to the My Domains page to mint your domain.

  • Tap on Free Mint under the domain you would like to mint.

  • If this is your first time minting a domain to the Coinbase Wallet you need need to connect the wallet address. Tap on Add New Wallet, then select Coinbase Wallet in the pop-up men and Sign the transaction.

  • Now that your wallet has been connected to your UD account, select the wallet address with the "just added" tag to continue. Check the box next to I understand then click on Confirm.

  • You can tap on Track Progress and then click on tx_id_0000 next to the domain to view the transaction on the Polygon network or tap on the Back to Domains button to go back to the My Domains page. Once the transaction is complete and the domain is minted you will be able to manage the domain.
