How to Tokenize Your Domain Using the Unstoppable Lite Wallet
If you select the Unstoppable Lite (MPC) Wallet, your .com domain will be tokenized to your MPC Unstoppable Lite Wallet we provide you. To do so, just ensure this option is selected at checkout like below and complete the purchase as normal.
After verifying your info for ICANN and a few moments for the tokenization process to complete, your domain will be claimed to your Unstoppable Lite Wallet.
How to Tokenize Your Domain Using a Self-Custodial Wallet
If you select the Self-Custody option, your .com domain will be tokenized to a self-custodial wallet of your choice. To do so, just ensure this option is selected at checkout like below:
Continue with the checkout flow. After providing your ICANN info, you will be asked to select the wallet you would like your .com domain tokenized to:
Select the wallet of choice from the list of already connected wallets or connect a new wallet to your account and finish the checkout process. After verifying your info for ICANN and a few moments for the tokenization process to complete, your domain will be claimed to your self-custodial wallet.
Tokenizing .com Domains purchased prior to June 2024 or after previously detokenizing your .com domain:
Go to your domains page and click 'Manage' next to your .com domain.
Then, click 'Tokenize'. You will then need to select a crypto wallet that will hold the on-chain version of the domain:
Once complete, your .com domain is now capable of both Web2 and Web3 utility. You can detokenize your domain at any time by going to the 'Tokenization' tab under domain management.
Host your Web3 profile on your Tokenized .com domain
To link your .com domain to your ud.me page, go to the 'Website' tab under 'Manage'. Not only will this link your .com domain to your ud.me page, it will do so without the need for IPFS, increasing loading times. Simply tick the box and sign the transaction with your crypto wallet:
