Making and receiving offers on the marketplace

Modified on: Thu, 14 Nov, 2024 at 12:45 AM

You can now make offers on domains listed on the marketplace. All offers must be made using a credit or debit card. The card will not be charged unless the seller accepts the offer. Currently, only domains minted to Polygon are eligible.

In order for your domain to qualify for an offer, it needs to be in an External wallet controlled by you, as well as in an account that has an email address linked to it.

If you have an offer accepted and payment is taken, the domain will go to your minting wallet. If you have not set up a minting wallet, the domain will be sent to a custodial wallet provided by Unstoppable Domains that is linked to your account. This wallet can also be taken over by you for a self-custody experience. More about this wallet can be found here

How to make my domain eligible for an offer

Please ensure your domain is held in a verified self-custody wallet and minted to the Polygon network. You will also need an email address linked to your account. You can add one in your account settings page.

Make an offer

To make an offer, go to the marketplace and search for a domain. If the domain is eligible for an offer you'll see "make an offer" under the pricing:

Enter your offer and on the next page, enter your card number. Please note, we check cards for funding when an offer is placed but only charge he card if the offer is accepted.

View offers on my domains

You can view all offers that have been made for your on-sale domains by going to unstoppabledomains.com/domains/offers

You can accept the offer with a signature from the wallet that owns the domain (and this can take a minute or two to validate on Polygon). Approval for domain transfers is a one-time operation per wallet just as it is on other marketplaces. You can choose any of the verified wallets in your account for receipt of the USDC. Offers expire after 2 weeks if not rejected or accepted prior to expiry. Max offer is $10,000.
