Skills & plugins

Skills and plugins extend what your agents can do — reusable behaviors and tools you import once and reuse across chats. This article covers what they are, importing them, the bundled ones, risk levels, and setting defaults.

Skills, plugins, collections, and marketplaces

  • Skill — a reusable unit of agent behavior or instructions (for example, a skill for planning UI work).
  • Plugin — a packaged tool or integration.
  • Collection — a saved grouping of skills, plugins, and MCP servers you apply together.
  • Marketplace — a source for discovering and installing plugins and skills.

You manage all of these on the Plugins page.

Import skills from a repository

To bring in skills, point the app at a repository, then pick which skills to import — all of them or just the ones you want. Imported skills show up individually in your list, ready to enable.

Risk levels

Each skill shows a risk level to help you judge what you're importing. The rating comes from a third-party analysis service, not from Unstoppable, so treat it as a signal rather than a guarantee — review anything before you rely on it.

Bundled skills

Some skills come with the app — general GitHub and git helpers you'll use all the time. Claude and Codex also each bring their own bundled skills, so those are always available no matter what else you import.

Enable per chat, or set defaults

In any chat, enable or disable the skills, plugins, and collections you want for that conversation. To avoid choosing them every time, set a default selection on the workspace — new chats then start with those already turned on.

Works with both agents

Skills and plugins are managed in one place and work with both Claude and Codex. Most plugins are Claude-native, and the app converts them to run on Codex where it can — covered in a dedicated article, Cross-agent compatibility.
